Thank you for everything

Hey guys, I'd like to thank every single one of you for watching me and keeping up with my stuff. It means the world to me and I'm very grateful to have you with me. Even if you're one of those silent watchers. I myself am a silent watcher for the most part nowadays but I know I appreciate the support either way, so thank you!

I feel like I owe you guys a lot because you've changed my life in more ways than you can imagine.

When I first joined this site, I was having a hard time in school. It was 2007/2008 at the time and I was in grade 8. All of my friends pretty much ditched me and left me to brace high school alone. 07/08 were really lonely for me. It got to a point where my self esteem was gone, I got really quiet and people picked on me. Not to the extent that some people had it, but they still didn't make me feel too good about myself. 

So I joined deviantART.

After coming home from those long lonely school days to see one message in my inbox made me feel REALLY good. Someone wanted to talk to me and even if I didn't get another message for a few days, I was still happy that that one person took the time to notice me.. 

The school days didn't seem to get me down anymore because I started finding new people on here with the same interests as me. I finally had solid friendships, and started feeling genuinely happy.


When people started to draw my characters, I nearly started crying. Nobody had wanted anything to do with my ideas or anything before and it really made me feel wanted I guess. I still get teary when people send me giftart or when we do art trades. I remember coming home from shitty days at school or work and have giftart sitting in my inbox, it truly brightens my day when you amazing people take the time to just support my characters and what I do.


I have a lot more followers than I did when I first started. Now I have over 2,000 total, combining dA and tumblr. It's CRAZY. I try replying to every single comment I receive, every note. I'm still baffled because I mean I never thought I was anything special, nobody ever made me feel so. But all of the support and positive stuff you guys have done for me seriously is so insane. I can't thank you all enough.

That's why I like taking the time to do all the request sketches and random giftart from time to time. To give back to you guys for being there for me when nobody else was.. I can go out and do whatever, but dA is where I started and you guys will always come first when I do internet stuff. 


Had I left in 2012 when I wanted to, I would never have gained the confidence I have today, the best friend I've ever had, and would be oblivious to Bully which was a huge factor in my happiness. I want to be here, it took some time to realize it but a lot of good things happened when I was here with you guys. 

So here's to you guys, thank you for making everything a hell of a lot better for me!
